The record of the National Fruit Collection, at Brogdale in Kent, describes it¹:

Originated with R. Banta, Carroll township, Arkansas, USA. It was introduced in 1968 by M.J.Lucas, Green Forest Nursery, Arkansas. Fruits have soft, white flesh with a vinous flavour.
