Sacramentsappel

The record of the National Fruit Collection, at Brogdale in Kent, describes it¹:

Raised at the Plant Breeding Institute, Wageningen, Netherlands. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1955. Fruits have fine, tender, creamy white flesh with a subacid and slightly rich flavour.
